From Founder Director's Desk...........

The story of LEADING LIGHTS  started with a thought that came into my mind when I was discussing with my wife about enrolling my daughter in a preschool. We discussed and I planned to visit few schools next day in the morning to find out a suitable place where I can enrol my daughter. I have been to US for various project works, I have got the opportunity to see their standard in early childhood education. Like every parents, quality education for my child without any compromise in standard was always my priority.

Next day I visited all well  known schools of our locality and I was surprised to see  that most of the schools had a concept of play school  rather than a concrete early childhood education for holistic development of a child.I was quite upset as it  was not just the case of my daughter rather it was the future of all the children aged between 1.5 to 6 years, at stake. Suddenly a thought came to my mind to start a preschool  with a view to provide the early childhood education to all these children with a structured preschool program that integrates philosophy, curriculum, materials, teacher training & assessment. I wanted to change the way a child gets early education in this market. 

I discussed this with my wife and being a mother she immediately accepted the need of this change & was totally agreed  with this idea of opening a school. Now it became dream of my wife also.I was aware of the challenges ahead but wanted to give a chance to myself. I left my well paid job of 10 years as software professional in IT sector and my idea was to come up with a school that can bring revolution in the early childhood education with international standards while keeping Indian culture in  mind & compliant with all respected Early Education policies & programs globally but available to a large segment of the society at an affordable cost. This is how LEADING LIGHTS came into existence which has a flexibility to cater different segment of parents’ needs for their child.
